Plumbtrax Infrastructure is at Puffing Billy Railway.

Plumbtrax Infrastructure Services is proud to be involved in the successful delivery of a brand new Rain Water Harvesting system on the site of the Historical Puffing Billy Railway Station Belgrave VIC. Puffing Billy has been in operation since the early 1900s and is a huge part of Melbournes Heritage and remains a popular International Tourist attraction today! This project is apart of a much larger program within the Dandenong Ranges Region to capture rain water and store on selected sites and automatically release into our natural waterways, streams & creeks in much dryer and predicted drought periods to help prevent any impacts on our endangered and native Platypus that call this area home. This was a Collaborative Initiative between Yarra Ranges Shire Council (YRSC), Department of Energy, Environment & Climate Action (DEECA), University of Melbourne.
